December 2022 Fishing Report

Wow, finally we have some heat and the Cicadas are chirping.  With the good sunny weather there are heaps of trout rising and up on the surface, with Green Beetles flying around, I have caught a couple of fish on the Green Beetles.

I have been using some Zman Watermelon Slimswimz and my mate, Hunter, has been using some Berkeley Black & Golds, we have been catching some nice trout with healthy browns and fat rainbows.

The flies that have been killing it have been size #16 to #18 Pheasant Tails and the Dry Flies are #16 to #18 Parachute Adams and small green caddis patterns with a mix of TT Jigheads in 1/16 and 1/12 in the shallows where the fish are lurking. 

I have been really enjoyed using the Loon Aquel Floating Gel, it keeps your dries floating and indicators afloat, pop down to Southern Wild and see Mark and grab some, it’s an awesome product 

Christmas time is upon us so enjoy and have some fun and don't forget catch some fish.
