Kia Ora,
March started nice and warm but now we are moving into Autumn with fresh mornings and clear blue sky afternoons. Daylight hours have dramatically dropped which is a sure sign the roar is now well underway - I hope you all have hot barrels!
Fresh water fishing has improved with some rain, it's still challenging with the lakes being so low and dydimo is still prolific.
We have our annual Anzac Day Duck Shoot, that we sponsor, on 25th April, starts midday at the Gun Club. A good day to get your eye in for Duck Shooting. There's lots of great spot prizes. All welcome.
Duck Shooting - steel shot has arrived instore, get in quick as once it's gone, it's gone! We have licences available instore, you can also get them online here. Now’s the time to be checking your decoys, make sure there’s no rotten string or faded decoys & ensure your 6v battery is charged up for those motorised decoys.
Winter sports are underway, we have all the gear to help keep you and your kids safe and protected – mouth guards and shin pads are a must - we also have a good range of rugby balls, netballs, footballs & socks, call in and check it out!!
Take care out there.
Till next time, The Colonel |
